What you'll be doing:


Leveraging both, local and regional expertise, provide support for human resources activities including hiring processes, benefits administration support, payroll and timesheet support, leave of absence guidance and management, exit processes, employee relations support, answering basic employee queries on Workday & annual HR processes, and interpretation of local employment laws and regulations.- Provide support to assigned business location(s) communicating, promoting and implementing corporate human resources initiatives, programs and policies.- Provide guidance on employment law, support and resolve employee relations issues.- Provide assistance and guidance to managers in the Performance review process.- Support for internal / external audits (tax, social security).- Support new hire orientation.- Prepare, review (and implement changes in) employment contracts and regularly check that all regulations are in line with labor law, tax and social security rules.- Handle all leave of absences and special files/documents for maternity leave, paternity leave, parental leave, time credit and special leave files.- Administer all employee benefits and ensure all activities are compliant with law/tax.- Contract manager for local pension plans.- Support local HR system for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.- Active support of HR reporting in cooperation with global HR, Finance department and all concerned authorities.- Support and advise employees and managers on all Human Resources matters including discipline, grievance and harassment and/or dismissal procedures.- Support all training activities either with the Corporate Training Department or with local agencies.- Keep and support accurate personal records and ensure compliance with GDPR.- Work together with safety officer within the framework of Prevention at work.- Support international HR projects.- May partner as needed with business locations to determine human resources needs in- the areas of organisational development (talent acquisition and development).- Attend local management meetings.


What we are looking for:

  • Academic degree in Human Resources or related field of study.
  • Ability to make recommendations.
  • Knowledge of local labor law, social legislations and tax and social security laws.
  • Strong problem solving attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to mediate conflicts.
  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality, discretion and tact.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others (Fluent German & English)
  • Well organised and confident to work independently but also a strong team player.
  • MS Office skills required as well as HRIS systems operational knowledge. 10 years of experience in different Human Resources generalist functions, including employee relations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
