About the job

We are now looking for a Lead Logistics Coordinator-Offshore for offshore wind farms.


The position is within the O&M Delivery department, which is responsible for O&M activities on our offshore wind farms and focuses on operating our wind farms safely, efficiently and professionally.

The Lead Logistics Coordinator-Offshore works as part of the Warehouse management team and performs various tasks, including being functionally responsible for the warehouse coordinators in offshore locations (OAP/SOV - i


e:

planning and coordinating) in the assigned area.

The Lead Logistics Coordinator-Offshore reports to the Manager of Warehouse Management in Nordics and Germany.

The scope of work will be for various parts of the assets in offshore wind farms in Vattenfall, such as but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and support the Warehouse Team that is under the Warehouse management department in the supply chain.


The overall purpose of the Warehouse Coordination team is to be responsible for storing, optimizing, delivering and control of spare parts and consumables for the sites and maintaining various databases incl.

SAP, PPE, lifting equipment and tooling etc.


The Lead Logistics Coordinator-Offshore ensures that we have full control of warehouse-related activities in Nordics and Germany and will be a key player in planning, implementing and following up on strategies and activities relevant to warehouse management.

As a Lead Logistics Coordinator-Offshore, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead the Warehouse Coordination team of relevant areas under Warehouse management, and ensure that health and safety standards are followed.
  • Align synergies and planning of warehouse coordinator resources in the assigned areas, to ensure control and coverage of daytoday activities.
  • Oversee safety, quality and inventory control of parts and tools stored in the warehouses.
  • Manage warehouse grounds to ensure optimum access and usability of the warehouses.
  • Work closely with the other stakeholders for coordination purposes at the warehouse when parts need to be mobilized.
  • Ensure all paperwork and documentation related to parts and tools are maintained, and the correct master data is registered in SAP.
  • Ensure high integrity of all inventory held in the warehouse through timely and correct maintenance, testing and certification.
  • Ensure efficient processes between the warehouse and key stakeholders.
Location

is preferred to be Hamburg, Germany but Esbjerg in Denmark is also an option.


Profile:


You will play a key role in the fulfilment of the O&M Supply Chain objectives, it is therefore a requirement that you can work independently in a structured way.

You have an understanding of cultural differences and can act accordingly. You have good communication skills and drive.

When necessary, you can make quick decisions in difficult circumstances, while maintaining an obliging and service-minded attitude and flexible adjusting to changing circumstances.

As a Lead Logistics Coordinator-Offshore, you hold the following qualifications:

  • Experience in coordinating multiple strategic warehouse operations to ensure the company's objectives are met;
  • Documented experience with setting up and managing warehouse activities;
  • Experience with storage maintenance of wind turbine parts;
  • Experience with special tools and equipment for mobilization;
  • Understand safety and quality processes;
  • Proficient in the SAP Material Management Module and an understanding of the SAP Planned Maintenance Module;
  • Experience with overseeing physical inventory & inventory control;
  • Documented experience supporting improvements in overall performance of stock management
  • Experience developing warehouse procedures and warehouse risk assessments;
  • Experience with COSHH handling;
  • Experience with invoice approvals;
Further, you have

  • Experience with stakeholder management and people management;
  • Experience in the customs export/import process;
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma (preferable);
  • Holds license/certificates such as driver's license, forklift truck license (preferable) and offshore certificates (preferable);
  • The ability to work flexible hours and to travel as and when required;
  • Fluency in German and English.
