About the Job:

We are looking for a
Finance & Procurement Expert to join our team in Dresden.

You will play a vital role within our international business operations team in Europe and Asia with a wide range of tasks in a dynamic startup environment.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Perform financial cashflow planning and forecasting for our United Micro Europe in alignment with the managing directors and the United Micro HQ
  • Overlook and support accounting and bookkeeping for United Micro Europe handled by our tax & accounting consultant
  • Support the United Micro HQ in preparing the annual financial statements
  • Support in government funding and tax optimizations for both Germany and Austria
  • Manage all invoicing (incoming, outgoing) and ensure proper VAT handling
  • Control and prepare incoming invoices and reimbursements for timely payments
  • Manage the procurement processes including purchase orders for IT equipment, office supply, R&D equipment, SW licenses, materials, etc.
  • Support international shipments including customs and export control handling
  • Overlook and manage the inventory for United Micro Europe
  • Work closely with your finance and procurement counterparts in our Chinese HQ for companywide aligned processes
  • Support administration of invention disclosure process and inventor remuneration
  • Take care for the local office management in Dresden

Your profile:


  • Enjoy working closely with peers across different locations in a small team environment
  • Completion of a commercial education (in German: kaufmännische Ausbildung), a degree in economics or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, procurement, or office management field
  • Possess a handson mentality and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently to investigate inconsistencies and resolve them
  • Willingness to adapt your work to meet the changing needs of the company
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Fluent in both German and English
