Founded in 1992 and based in Munich, with offices in Hannover, Los Angeles and Shanghai, Simi is part of the ZF Group since May 2019.

On this strategic foundation, we are pursuing our plan of organic growth in our Automotive and Sports & Medical divisions.

Simi's Automotive division is currently looking for an experienced System administrator (Windows/Linux) in full-time or part-time.

Tasks

Setup and improvement of a heterogeneous Windows and Linux environment
Installation of Windows clients and IT support for colleagues
Administration of IT infrastructure (network, storage, server)
Installation and maintenance of basic IT security (VPN, Firewall,...)
Responsibility for backup solution, data base servers, Atlassian software...
Supporting IT integration into ZF LifeTec infrastructure
Responsibility for hardware
Fulltime (40 hours per week) or Parttime (min. 30 hours per week) possible

Requirements:

Profound knowledge in administration of Windows and Linux environments (Active Directory)
Good knowledge of network solutions (VPN)
Experienced in virtualization using Proxmox or similar

- self-organized and diligent way of working, strong communication skills
- interest in related topics like DevOps pipelines, software development is a plus
- fluent English, German B2 appreciated
