Tasks

Conduct theoretical and experimental research to develop new technologies, imaging methods and components for medical imaging techniques (e.g., MRI, CT, X-Ray).
Improve imaging techniques, signal processing algorithms, and image reconstruction methods to enhance the quality of images.
Perform measurements, tests, and characterizations on devices to evaluate their performance and ensure they meet specifications.
Evaluate the safety of the equipment in terms of magnetic fields and electromagnetic radiation according to national and international standards.
Analyze problems and malfunctions occurring in equipment and develop troubleshooting solutions in collaboration with customer service and technicians.

Requirements:

Completed university degree in Physics, Medical Technology or Electrical Engineering
Profound knowledge of the functionality of MRIs, CTs or similar devices
First experience with engineering or maintenance of electrical devices
Fluent in German
