About your team


Fidelity International's Private Credit Team is a department within the newly formed Private Assets Group, which manages or will aim to manage client funds across the globe invested predominantly in leveraged loans, high yield bonds, direct lending, corporate structured credit and alternative assets through funds, CLOs or Separately Managed Accounts.

The group comprises expertise in Portfolio Management, Trading, Quantitative/Credit Analysis and Structuring/Product Specialists. The Private Assets Group is based in London.


The Private Credit Team has a long heritage in the market and will work alongside our fixed income, equities, real estate, multi-asset, and systematic investment functions.

Core to all investment activities is a passion for sustainable investing.

Fidelity runs a fully integrated sustainable investing model - with research investment professionals owning the deployment of our industry-leading forward-looking proprietary ESG assessment methodology.

About your role


The role requires 2+ year experience in the Leveraged Finance / Direct Lending space, strong modelling skills, a sound credit judgement, and strong team working spirit.


Working closely with the Senior origination team, the role is vital for the successful build out and deployment of our direct lending strategies, cooperating closely with private credit investment colleagues as well as adjacent investment teams to offer support for the broader success of FIL's investment activities.

About you

  • Ability to make investment recommendations supported by rigorous analysis and communicated with conviction
  • Ability to produce qualitative supporting documents including credit papers, models and presentations
  • Demonstrate some execution track record
  • Independence of thought, intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial flare
  • Proven interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative, teambased, resultsoriented environment
  • Strong presentation skills ability to communicate investment decisions and strategy to clients and colleagues
  • Strong quantitative skills, high level of initiative and a true team orientation
  • Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record
  • German speaker.
