Our Heilpädagogische Gruppe Horn accommodates up to eight children and young people. We welcome children from the age of eight who, due to various family reasons, can no longer live with their biological family and have special educational needs. We are currently looking for a qualified individual for a temporary position as a Erzieher*in / Sozialpädagog*in / Heilpädagog*in (m/f/d) or similar qualification to cover a maternity leave for 30 weekly hours at our Heilpädagogische Wohngruppe Horn.

Qualifications:

  • Location: Horner Heerstraße 19, 28359 Bremen, Germany
  • Position: Part-time
  • Requirements: No specific religious affiliation required

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance, care, and support to young people in their daily lives
  • Collaborating with schools, training facilities, offices, and authorities
  • Assisting young people in developing social skills and conflict resolution
  • Participating in group and shift work, as well as on-call nights
  • Engaging in team discussions, case supervision, and team meetings
  • Participating in internal work groups

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in Social Work or Education with state recognition
  • Experience in youth welfare is advantageous
  • Enjoys teamwork and working with children, young people, and parents
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn and undergo supervision
  • Works independently and solves problems effectively
  • Values a respectful and resource-oriented approach to people
  • Is willing to work shifts and be on-call at night
  • Has PC skills
