Your mission:


  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to define technical requirements and integrate battery systems into complete stationary storage solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of engineers, ensuring clear objectives, effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones
  • Develop detailed technical specifications, design concepts and testing protocols for battery systems, adhering to industry standards, safety regulations and project requirements
  • Collaborate closely with product owner to develop requirements, project plans, monitor progress and ensure ontime delivery within budget constraints
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and failure analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of battery system design and performance
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to support the transition from design to production, resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes for battery systems

Your profile:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- >3 years experience in in battery system development

  • Experience with
  • HV-Battery system development
  • Accompanying product development from requirements analysis and concept phase to market launch and series production
  • Technical product development according to vmodel (e.g. ISO 26262, DIN EN 61508)
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience leading and mentoring teams of engineers, and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects

Voltfang - The Green Energy Storage System


We are a young start-up based in Aachen, which has set itself the goal of creating a sustainable transportation and energy turnaround in Europe.

For this purpose, we develop and produce commercial battery storage systems from used EV-Batteries. By reusing the batteries, no additional resources have to be mined to produce our storage units.
