AeroLogic is a modern cargo airline based at Leipzig/Halle Airport. It was founded in 2007 as joint venture of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo. With a very modern fleet of 21 new Boeing 777F AeroLogic mostly serves destinations in Asia and the USA.

AeroLogic has a daily connection to Hong Kong and several connections like Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.


For the Maintenance department Aerologic is looking for an:

Expert Material and Repair Management (M/F/x)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Representation of the company ́s interests with regard to contractors, maintenance companies and stations worldwide
  • Operational Contract Manager for Component Pooling Provider
  • Identification of material demands and procurement of required material
  • Administration and monitoring of orders, repair processes and supervision of contractors
  • Administration of logistics processes
  • KPI monitoring and improvement of KPI measurement process
  • Project work for material related projects

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or an apprenticeship with equal practical knowledge
  • First experience in Aviation
  • Above average sense of responsibility, diligence and selforganisation
  • Able to assess and understand new situations and data quickly
  • Good Teamplayer
  • Good computer literacy and knowledge in MS-Office, knowledge of AMOS desirable
  • Good knowledge of English and German
