The appointment is planned for

Profile

  • Photonicbased quantum sensing, quantum communication and quantum signal processing
  • Photonic materials for integrated photonics
  • Microwave and terahertz photonics at chip level
Our expectations

  • Proven research and teaching experience in the abovementioned field
  • Excellent international publication record
  • Proven experience in and willingness to engage in international collaborations
  • Active participation in the four core research areas of the TU Braunschweig and in the Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD
  • Adoption of Germanlanguage courses in the bachelor's program
  • Very good command of the English language and willingness to teach courses in English
  • Willingness to participate in the selfadministration of the university
  • Willingness to participate in the internationalisation of the university
Requirements, - 25 NHG

  • Completed university studies
  • Proven pedagogical suitability
  • Special qualification for deepened independent scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by an aboveaverage doctorate and
  • Additional scientific accomplishments, e. g. in the context of a junior professorship, habilitation, or other equivalent qualifications
