Definition and roll-out of one or more engineering capabilities (process, method, tool, roles/skills, data) that targets to improve efficiency, time to market and digitalization for Care Enablement's product teams along the core value chain and entire product life cycle of R&D, Product Mgmt/Sustaining, Industrialization / Manufacturing and Technical Service.

In the context of of CE's PLM / Operating System contribute to the digital transformation towards Digital Twin / Digital Thread based on industry-leading-practices and technologies.

Take responsibility and support rollouts of the PLM/engineering capabilities into FMC's product team.

Your assignments

  • Definition of engineering processes, methods and gathering of business need, use cases and user requirements for one or more engineering capabilities together with topic experts from FMC's product teams
  • Coordinate with multiple business stakeholder and topic experts from different product teams, functions and sites and drive for a globally harmonized and improved way of working among the domain / expert community; enforce decision making
  • Coordinate requirements with solution architects / technical solution team and support CSV testing as well as overall solution realization
  • Elaborate key domain deliverables such as capability concepts papers, process flows, role descriptions, SOPs/work instructions, training materials, URS, test scripts, etc.
  • Maintaining backlog of one of more engineering capabilities following agile way of working
  • Plan, lead and conduct professional workshops, meetings
  • Alignment of capability content with other domain / work streams
  • Support creation of capability roadmap based on improvement idea and needs from the business
  • Support and contribute to deployment / rollout of engineering capabilities to product teams; analyze business needs of product team, organize onboarding sessions, data migration and training, drive to successful completion, help with adoption during the initial weeks after golive
  • Create training approach, materials of engineering capabilities and deliver on those to end users

Profile:


  • Professional experience in an international business environment
  • Professional experience in the context of R&D, engineering, product development, preferably from automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace or medical device industry (or other similar industry),
  • Experience / expertise in R&D and / or manufacturing (engineering) operations, product development process as well as good overview in leading practice concepts for core product development activities (e.g. systems engineering, requirements management & traceability, mech/elec/software engineering, BOM/configuration management, design change, platform/modularity, product structure, product costing, DHF/DMR)
  • Experience in defining and managing digital engineering concepts, SLM/PLM/PDM/ALM and related tool ecosystems for connected products, preferably in a technology and regulatory oriented environment (SLM/PLM/ALM tool affinity is useful but detailed tool knowledge not required)
  • Experience in large business transformation programs and drive organizational change successfully into operative business
  • Experience in program / project management, controlling including tracking and reporting key metrics will be as essential as outstanding analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Preferably knowledge in one or more usual PLM/ALM tools
  • Digital technology, IoT, IT savviness demonstrated in multiple projects
