For our entity in Kabelsketal, we are looking for an enthusiastic Accountant to join the team.

Tasks:

You take responsibility for proper accounting in accordance with the legal requirements and the company's internal policies
You are responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
You manage VAT returns
You check and post invoices and receipts, prepare and post closing entries in the monthly and annual financial statements
You will be responsible for the continuous optimization of accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
You are the contact person for auditors, tax advisors and other external parties
You support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

Profile:

At best, you have completed a commercial apprenticeship with a focus on finance/accounting or a comparable qualification
You have several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a similar corporate environment
You have indepth knowledge of commercial and tax law as well as accounting standards (HGB)
You are proficient in MS Office and common accounting software (e.g. DATEV)
You have strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
You are a team player and have strong communication skills
You are able to work under pressure and have the ability to work precisely even under time pressure
You speak German & English
