The Customer Payment team is responsible for the integration with our Servicing Bank and processing all payments through it on the Raisin platform.

Most importantly, account creation, payment execution and reconciliations, and transaction compliance are in the domain of this team.

The team is part of the "Customer Tribe", which consists of three teams that collaborate closely on the mission to build and run state-of-the-art Customer experiences to grow Raisin at scale.

The team owns our PSD2-compliant API gateway, which provides open-banking functionality to the customers.

The Customer Payments team provides:

- the full lifecycle of the transaction accounts
- overview of the account balance and transaction history
- payment processing in real-time
- payments reconciliation
- platform abstractions of servicing banks
- different payment methods like direct debit
- open banking gateway

The team is a cross-functional team currently with BE and FE engineers and owns the whole lifecycle from design and development through maintenance of the services at runtime.

The team is responsible for the 24/7 runtime support of their services.
