About the Venture
We're on a mission to make the speciality coffee experience more affordable, digital, and convenient.

In a world where services continue to move into the virtual world, LAP (Life Among People) is bringing back the human touch paired with the personalisation and convenience that modern consumers have gotten used to with digital business.

Centered around emotion - the smell of a morning coffee, the warmth of a coffee cup, the social interaction and conversations shared over a coffee, the smile of the barista we're making high-quality coffee radically more accessible.

We're a small but mighty team serving coffees out of our stores in Berlin.

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to join our team in Berlin Mitte and work directly with our Co-Founder & CEO.

What You'll Do

Work closely with our founding team to support on the operational setup and expansion of our daily business operations
Manage large, cross functional projects working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive key business objectives forward
Support on setting and managing the CEOs strategic priorities including building key focus and metrics for success across the business.
Deep dive into the inner workings of our coffee shops, onboarding plans, ways of working and expansion plans to identify operational and structural weaknesses & propose recommendations to improve
Support on wider strategic topic including board meetings, investor relations, pitchdecks, financial models and onboarding materials

What we're looking for

You bring at least 4 years of operational experience, ideally with a mix of management consulting, startups and especially advantageous if you have prior experience working within the retail Food & Beverage industry
Your are entrepreneurial, solution orientated and excited to work on the fullcycle of building a startup diving into whatever topics need to be done
You have robust, financial and analytical skills and are able to break larger challenges down into smaller pieces to find datadriven solutions
Highly advantageous if you come with direct experience working in scaling Food & Beverage retail, incl. Restaurants, Coffee Shops etc.
You are fluent in English, German is a strong plus
