Capcora is a Frankfurt based M&A and Corporate Finance boutique specialized on real assets. We are currently increasing our firepower in the energy & infrastructure division and look out for new juniors.

We offer you the opportunity to gain detailed insights into origination and execution of M&A processes and finance transactions in ground-breaking solar PV, onshore wind or storage projects across Europe.


THE POSITION:


Based in Frankfurt, you will contribute to the development, structuring and execution of Capcora's mandates in Europe across a variety of assets including onshore wind, solar PV, energy strorage, etc.

Associates will work directly with Directors and Partners.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Taking a supporting role in origination and execution of financing and M&A processes
  • Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models / discounted cash flow valuations / scenario analysis
  • Creating key marketing and commercial documents (teasers, information memorandum and reportings)
  • Project management involving multiple of external parties
  • Assisting in due diligence processes
  • Assisting in research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence for marketing materials
  • Active participation in the office life of a young company that is always looking to improve quality of its services

REQUIRED SKILLS:


  • Exceptionally strong Excel modeling skills, ideally with experience in VBA
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure and fastpaced environment
  • Ability to think commercially and to take initiatives while maintaining a high degree of detailorientation
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively both as independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to a nontechnical audience
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, especially in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ideally, 23 years of relevant professional experience
  • Commitment to personal growth and career development
  • The following are positives, but are not essential:
  • Sector experience from renewables, energy, and/or infrastructure
  • Proficiency in one or more of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Finnish or Swedish languages
