FCAS2023 Engineering Plans Coordinator and Alignment with Partners /Pillars (d/M/F)

FCAS has the potential to become a future key pillar to secure the sovereignty of Europe, strategically, technologically, and industrially With Spain joining the Franco-German cooperation, the programme took an important step towards its Europeanization.

As FCAS is much more than "just" a new Fighter, but an integrated & combined system-of-system including existing and future platforms and tools, the programme will integrate a wide range of the Airbus DS portfolio and competencies.

One vacancy for an Engineering Plans Coordinator and Alignment with Partners /Pillars (d/M/F) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Germany, Manching.

You will join the Process, Methods and Tools Team "PMT" Department.

Within the context of our continuous commitment to be a world leader in the Defence and Space markets, the PMT department is contributing to the objective to further leverage synergies across our diverse product landscape by injecting the best in class processes, methods, practices, and tools across the overall engineering group.

As part of the Process, Methods and Tools Team "PMT", you will provide operational support to the NGWS Chief Engineering office.

You will act as the main point of contact for any activity related to the definition, coordination and alignment of the Engineering Plans with internal as well external stakeholders.

The positions will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities

_Your tasks and responsibilities _

Lead the NGWS plans authors
NGWS RMP, SyDP, MMP
Facilitate ADS internal XPillar plans alignments (identify stakeholders, call for meetings, write MoMs in Confluence, communicate status horizontally and vertically)
Consider Ph1B contractual aspects (all CCTPs + CWE)
Focus on the NGWS Operating system and NGWS Demo problematics
Ensure that project specific tailoring (compromising with all different views (partners, pillars)) meets expectations based on BMS and committed way of working with respect to DOA.
Support the ADS ambition with respect of NGWS SoS demo
Consider Item0 cocontractors interest, way of working, specific problems
Facilitate Item0 cocontractors negotiations about RMP, MMP, SyDP

_Desired skills and qualifications _

Master degree in Systems/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years experiences in Systems Engineering, in particular in Technical Management, Requirements Management, System Design, Design Verification and IV&V.
Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering.
Good knowledge in Aircraft Systems, Human Factors Engineering, and Interface Management, ASEP certification would be beneficial.
Extended knowledge of systems engineering processes, methods, tools, and languages such as: ISO/IEEE 15288, ARP 4754A, DEVELOP, Cameo System Modeller, Enterprise Architect, MEGA, DOORS, SysML, UML, UAF, NAF 3.1,Java, Java Script, and Python
Very good coordination and communication skills as well as assertiveness
Ability to work crossfunctionally and in an international environment
Ability to build and maintain a network
Ability to work in a team
Negotiation level in English/German or in English/French, Knowledge in French/German would be a plus
