Keen to further empower the team by onboarding more talent, we are currently looking for an experienced
Head of Accounting (M/F/d) to join our team in
Nonnweiler-Primstal, Saarland.

The role will be responsible for our Accounting team, preparing timely financial reports and monitoring internal controls to ensure the efficiency of the company.

_ Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:__

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements together with the team and external service providers
• Identification of improvement potential and management of projects on special topics, e.g. development of a manual of accounting, transfer pricing documentation and solutions for group consolidation
• Identification of automation potentials and conception of implementation proposals
• Development and improvement of financial reporting and controlling tools in cooperation with Controlling / FP&A & Group Treasury
• Development of the accounting team
• Completed business studies and ideally additional further training in the area of taxes or accounting or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in an international company or an auditing firm in the area of finance, with 3 years of personnel responsibility
• Sound knowledge of German accounting according to HGB as well as German tax law (esp. VAT)
• Excellent analytical skills, a structured way of working as well as the ability to work in a team and on one's own initiative
• Enjoys building and developing teams in a growing international organization
• German mother toung and fluent in English
