DENSO, the world's second largest mobility supplier, is leading in developing and providing components and systems for automotive components such as heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.


Job Description:

Mobility is increasingly managed by digital services, e.g. charging your car, parking, highway feeds, or booking a vehicle or bike.

Recent Web 3.0 technologies enable open, and trusted services based on self-sovereign identities and trusted data sharing. These give the user control over his/her identity, credentials, and data.

The focus of this Working Student Position is to build and to evaluate a platform and tools using Web 3.0 Blockchain-based credentials, using the latest Web 3.0 technologies and tools from the Gaia-X community.

The goal is to show in a case study that these technologies enable open and trusted services, using a combination of different services.


The main objective is to build up a prototype for mobility services using latest Web 3.0 for so-called decentral or "self-sovereign" identities using Blockchain technology.


This can include the following:

  • Service description using semantic web tools
  • Identification of users and services using Web 3.0 identitities
  • Service combination using Gaia-X and Web 3.0 technologies
  • Demo services for mobility

Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in a computer science / engineering or related studies
  • Good understanding of web services, web technologies like REST and Web 3.0, security and blockchain concepts and usage, container technology
  • Programming skills are required (e.g. Java, Python, Javascript)
  • Still in blockchain languages like Solidity are a plus
  • Has an interest to work in the area of cloud services and automotive Good English skills both written and spoken
