What you'll do

  • Your job is to carefully research, evaluate, write and edit the latest sports news
  • Your tasks include presenting complex topics in a generally understandable way and classifying them according to relevance
  • In addition to independently preparing individual broadcasting elements (e.g. talk, switching), you'll take care of planning and coordinating the broadcasting processes
  • With a good feeling for images and stories, you create contributions from live broadcasts or supplied material and also set them to music independently
  • Preparing news and graphics for the live broadcast is part of your daily business thanks to your very good feeling for language, this comes easily to you
  • You update the news in the ticker and create live results and tables
  • You've first experience in planning activities for a news broadcaster
  • Transparency is important to us you're able to give appreciative feedback to colleagues

What you'll bring

  • You've a university degree, preferably in journalism, communication or sports science or a comparable journalistic education as well as at least 2 years' experience in LIVE broadcasting of a news or sports editorial team on television
  • Your great enthusiasm and extensive expertise for sport in general and football in particular distinguish you
  • In the past you were able to gain extensive knowledge in storytelling and you show textual confidence and creativity in the creation of contributions, including dubbing
  • You show a willingness to work shifts and have a good way of dealing with stressful situations even under time pressure you work accurately and quickly
  • An independent way of working, communication and team skills as well as creativity and a high level of commitment are among your strengths
  • Experience with editing programmes and written and spoken English round off your profile
