Role Summary:


The Project Engineering Lead (PEL) - ADAS/AD Functions is responsible for providing technical leadership in coordinating, facilitating, motivating, and directing efforts of the Functions Engineering program teams and ensures efficient use of team resources.


They ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget for the ADAS/AD Functions area.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leads the activities for ADAS/AD Functions to ensure engineering work products and any other relevant deliverables are released per project's configuration management plans and are in compliance with product development process and customer expectations
  • Is responsible for creation and maintenance of ADAS/AD Functions dvlp. time schedules, resource / budget planning and reporting
  • Coordinates the analysis, planning and development of ADAS/AD Functions related requirements and standards with reference to scheduled projects
  • Assigns and oversees the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  • Determines and defines clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for the project team members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Documents and monitors program objectives for the ADAS/AD Functions area and ensures countermeasures are initiated to correct unfavorable variances

Key Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge in the software development and execution of automotive electronics products. ADAS/AD functions and/or test experience desired
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role. Leading a global team is a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decisionmaking and supervising project teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (speak & write)
