ABOUT THE TEAM

As part of the Solution Office department in IE BS Solution Management, the Compliance IT team enables the solution portfolio consumed by SAP's Office of Ethics and Compliance, Global Risk & Assurance Services, and SAP Global Security & Cloud Compliance organizations, helping SAP to win the right way.

THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated working student to join our team as a Test Automation specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of test scripts, and also for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our test automation process.

Responsibilities are:

Automation Qualification: Assess existing manual test cases for their automation potential and select the appropriate test automation tools from our test automation framework.
Test Automation: Implement, maintain, and improve automated tests to ensure the functionality and performance of our software products. You will be required to understand the automation framework, follow best practices, and continuously look for ways to improve the automation process.
Test Script Development: Develop and maintain detailed test scripts to verify software functionality and performance. You will work with development teams to understand how changes in the software design influence the test scripts.
Test Execution: Execute test scripts, analyze test results, and report findings. You will need to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing and provide feedback to the respective development and operations teams.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test results, and any modifications made. You will also be responsible for reporting any discovered defects and issues to the relevant teams.
Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including developers, business users and other testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Currently enrolled in a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scripts.
Basic knowledge of a programming language like Java, Python, or C# is preferred.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
