Position Summary


As part of Centerra GmbH's expansion plans, we are seeking an individual with a high level of confidence and motivation to administratively support the operations team and assist with accounting related tasks.


Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to a department and/or Manager
  • Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work
  • Project a professional company image through in person and phone interaction
  • Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable/Payable: Process, report, reconcile, chase payments, and manage bad/doubtful debts
  • Billing: Execute and monitor billing activities
  • Invoice Matching: Perform invoice matching and reconcile with delivery notes against invoices and purchase orders
  • Annual Accounts: Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and implement recommendations
  • Operations Duties include
  • Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing; maintaining hard copy and electronic filing system; signing for and distributing UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages
  • Research, price, and purchase office furniture and supplies
  • Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, parking, company credit cards and office keys
  • Set up and coordinating meetings and conferences
  • Support staff in assigned project based work
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus

Qualifications

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience:
  • A proven track record of at least 3 years as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting and bookkeeping
  • A working knowledge of accounting reports, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, organize, and pay attention to detail
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Discretion: Maintain a high level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Proactive: The individual must be proactive and selfmotivated in order to anticipate the needs of the manager
  • Team Player: Dedicated team player with a cando attitude and strong commitment to the company's mission
