George's School seeks a well-qualified professional to teach Business & Psychology in our flourishing secondary department, to start in August 2023.


The School
Serving the international community in Duisburg-Düsseldorf for over 10 years, St. George's School combines an enriching curriculum with family orientated care.

The school has grown from small beginnings into a thriving community of over 600 pupils, aged from 2-18 and representing a broad range of nationalities.

The National Curriculum is taught throughout the school, and we offer the IB Diploma in our Sixth Form.

The Role
We are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of Business & Psychology to work in our well-established secondary school.

The successful applicant will be a dynamic teacher with experience of enabling pupils to achieve their potential.

We are looking for the right balance between experience, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching which will inspire our pupils.


The Humanities Faculty promotes an enthusiasm for the study of the human activity and an awareness of the importance of analysis, interpretation and evaluation.

Pupils come from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, and we aim to build upon diversity to explore different ways of interpreting the world.


  • A copy of your degree certificate and teaching qualification.
All applicants should hold a valid teaching qualification. We consider a degree in education (e.g. B.Ed./M.Ed./Lehramt), or postgraduate teaching certificate (e.g. PGCE) as valid. English language teaching certificates (e.g. TEFL/IELTS/CELTA) are not sufficient.
