Role Overview


On our mission to power how the world delivers exceptional employee experience we are investing heavily in our Product and Engineering organisation.

This year we will be adding further squads and leadership roles to give us the foundations to scale our products globally.


We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead, align and optimise our growing Engineering organisation As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you will translate the strategic vision of our VP of Engineering into operational success and drive the high quality execution of our product roadmaps.


Responsibilities

  • Organise and execute the success of our product roadmaps by tracking progress, and proactively identify and manage risks to ensure ontime and onbudget delivery.
  • Identify bottlenecks, streamline development workflows, and implement metrics to track engineering efficiency and quality.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers and Engineers, fostering a culture of highperformance.
  • Provide guidance, ensure adherence to best practices, and champion longterm technical excellence.
  • Work closely with leadership across product management, UX, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts.
  • Building and motivating highperforming engineering teams, setting overarching OKRs. Communicate engineering goals and concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated ability in
    building and leading highcalibre engineering organisations (75+ people).

Experienced people leader in tech, proven experience as a manager of managers in an engineering function

Operational Leadership: Translating strategic goals into delivery success, managing roadmaps, risks, and resource allocation.

Agile and SDLC Mastery: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and various SDLC models. Ability to adapt and optimize processes within the Engineering.

People Management and Development: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers, and build high-performing teams.

Problem-Solving Mindset:A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and overcoming both technical and organisational challenges.

Results-Oriented: Driven by a focus on delivering roadmap features on time, within budget, and with an emphasis on quality.

Mentorship and Collaboration: A natural inclination towards coaching, developing others, and fostering a collaborative environment between teams.
