IRC PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
At
Eni, we are looking for a
Payroll Administrator within
Versalis International in
Oberhausen, Germany**.

You will be responsible for administering or participating to the administration of the payroll process of our employees, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.


As a member of
the human sources team at Versalis International you will be responsible for:

  • Administering the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Processing and calculating payroll transactions (including shift payroll in the chemical industry), including but not limited to, employee tax withheld, deductions, benefits, and earnings.
  • Experience in chemical collective agreements would be a plus
  • Upcoming project: Implementation of Payroll /new payroll provider
  • Managing and maintaining accurate employee payroll records and payroll databases.
  • Reconciling payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Preparing and distributing payroll reports, such as pay stubs and yearend tax forms.
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits information.
  • Processing and administering employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Preparing and submitting payroll tax reports, including but not limited to, Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment taxes.
  • Stay current on changes in payroll laws and regulations, including but not limited to, tax laws, wage and hour laws, and employee benefits regulations.
  • Working closely with HR, account & control, and other departments to ensure payroll processes are integrated with other business processes.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and accuracy of payroll records. (e.g., tax audit, yearend/annual audit, social charges/pension audit)
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external payroll service providers, as needed.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and availability to support in other areas of HR, as required.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Experience in payroll and personnel administration
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism
  • Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations
