Are you the European channel Marketing lead that brings our dedicated Audio channel approach across Europe on a higher level?


You will be leading the European channel marketing team for specialist audio stores (the so called 'DAC-channel) and be of strategic importance in the European planning/tracking cycle.

Masimo consumer is at a pivoting point transforming from a Hifi/Audio specialist into a consumer centric solution company, working with both audio specialist and large electronic retail partners.

You're driving this turn with your enthusiastic mindset, strong people management skills, a data driven approach and strong experience with (electronic) retail players.


When joining us, we expect you to grow our EU channel marketing team and plan for exponential growth with our many dedicated audio retailers in Europe.

Of which some are located in Germany (Hifi amongst others) and others are in France/United Kingdom/The Netherlands.

You will be closely working with the rest of the European team and be involved in cooperation with our global brand teams.

This role needs close collaboration with the sales leader for the DAC channel to come to integrated 360-plans and drive the channel growth together.

As this role will be a European role, you will manage a team of approximately 4 Channel/trade-marketeers with different nationalities.

Tasks

Marketing Management - Team lead Dedicated Audio Channel (DAC)

  • Leads the channel marketing team by target setting and personal development.
  • Steers the Channel marketing team and commercial organization by defining the ESS channel's integrated Marketing strategy and manages the execution in alignment with the EU and Brand team tactics.
  • Synchronizes commercial
- and marketing objectives. Takes an active role in the larger EU commercial excellence team.

  • Manages the channel investments budget which is appointed to large key accounts in this channel (= 'costs to serve budget').

Key account planning and monitoring:


  • Initiates strategic account planning across the largest premium DAC dealers accounts in Europe: build structure, deploy and measure. Take a data driven first approach where possible.
  • Challenge local market teams how to growth their DAC partners and share experience actively.
  • Team up with key channel managers and Go To Market managers to initiate new commercial activations and share best practices.
  • Bring our Core new products (NPI's) mainly under the Denon, Bowers & Wilkins and Marantz brand to this channel with a strategic channelization approach.

Advertising/Activation:


  • Creates an annual activation plan for the DAC channel, complementary to the EU Paid Media & Campaign planning.
  • Manages in close alignment with the Go To Market manager the strategic promotional calendar including the Black Friday/Cyber week approach.
  • Plans, implements, monitors, and reports return of investments of activities based on sell out data.

Requirements:


  • 6 8 years of experience in Consumerfocused Integrated marketing or trade marketing: PR, Media, Events, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing & Channel Marketing.
  • Experienced in working with specialist retailers (in audio or other businesses).
  • Experience in Omnichannel campaigns with significant specialist retailers' knowledge.
  • Experience in retail media planning and Event management.
  • Personality: pragmatic, organizational talent, open communicator, analytical.
  • Expected to travel (20%) including nonbusiness hours when required (e.g., for events and trade shows)
  • Bachelor/master's degree in marketing
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiar with the German and French language
  • Active sales or buyer experience.
