Your mission:

Global negotiation of freight costs with external service providers (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.) by means of framework agreements or similar (last mile)
Development of potential savings (e.g. combined shipment by area/location/destination/transport methods/forwarder, etc.)
Checking weekly/monthly freight invoices based on framework agreements in order to identify further potential for improvement
Documentation of work results
Evaluation of work processes within the warehouses

Your profile:

Completed commercial or technical degree
Indepth knowledge of logistics/freight methods and logistics/freight costs
Several years of professional experience in the field of logistics
Excellent negotiation skills
Analytical and conceptual thinking
Strong ability for abstraction
Structured way of working
Business fluent in written and spoken English
Further training as a REFA specialist is a plus
