Regulations Management is an important capability within our Company to identify and interpret requirements affecting Continental from all _t_C sources and make them available in a traceable form for implementation in our products and services.

To strengthen our team dealing with the growing regulatory complexity for all products and product-related services in all relevant markets we are looking for a "Technical Compliance (tC) Regulations and Standards Specialist" (M/F/diverse) at the location Hannover.


Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

  • Identify and select relevant Regulations and Standards publications for Continental and their publication channels in cooperation with the tC Category Matter Experts, Technical Regulations Coordinators (TRC) and Technical Regulations Experts (TRE)
  • Scan external sources and publication channels regarding newly released, updated, drafted, upcoming and existing Regulations and Standards with relevance for Continental's products worldwide in cooperation with tC Category Matter Specialists, Technical Regulations Coordinators (TRC) and Technical Regulations Experts (TRE) globally
  • Manage Regulations & Standards including procurement, translations, changes and provision in the Central Database to all Group Sectors/ BAs
  • Define, establish and maintain a regular information channel for new and updated regulations, upcoming topics to various internal communities
  • Report on Standard and Regulations database contents (e.g., newsletter)
  • Support the coordination of "Continental Common Interpretations", Position Papers on relevant regulations and standardization developments across all Group Sectors
  • Support improvement activities regarding Regulations Management Processes and Tools
  • Provide communication and training material and execute communication and trainings to globally involved employees in the area of technical Compliance

Profile:


  • Academic Degree in engineering or related technical field is appreciated
  • Profound experience in Regulations Management for products, services, software and digital services
  • Advanced knowledge of Regulations and Standards landscape and respective global creation and publication processes
  • Operational experience in Product Development and the implementation of Product Safety/ Product Conformity/ Product Cyber Security & Privacy / Product Environmental Compliance related requirements would be appreciated
  • Basic knowledge about related functional processes (e.g., Requirements Management) and database management would be appreciated
  • Business fluency in German and English language (written and spoken)
  • Advanced communication and network skills
  • Analytical skills, creativity, problemsolving and implementation skills
