Strategic HR Partner Global Functions in Envalior.


Up for the challenge?


Within Envalior we are seeking a Global Strategic HR Partner supporting the Global Functions (Finance, IT, Legal and Procurement) for Envalior.

You represent the HR function in the global leadership teams of the respective functions, working with Executive Leadership Team members and driving the people agenda.

You work with local HR Partners in the different regions to ensure global optimal HR support.

As the majority of the global functional leaders are located in Germany, the home base for this position will be in Dusseldorf, Germany (hybrid working is possible).

Occasional international travel is required for the role.


This is a position in which you will build strong influencing skills to advise and get senior stakeholders aligned around the yearly HR agenda.

The 'key to success' is deep business understanding to support the organization ́s strategic direction.

You closely collaborate with your global peers and local HR colleagues to stay on top of the latest developments in the function.


In this position you will report to the CHRO of Envalior who is there to support and coach you in your development.

In this role you will be a member of the global HR Leadership Team of Envalior.

  • People Strategy Development
  • You are responsible for the delivery of business values by partnering with senior leaders to develop an HR Year Plan, which contributes to the realization of the business year plan of the central functions. The HR Year Plan is based on the Business and Function Strategy and Envalior's People Strategy and contains the structure, leadership, culture and talent management elements that are critical for the aimed business results. The designed HR Solutions are data driven. Next it contains a deployment plan, including a change management approach and metrics
  • Organization Development & Culture
  • You partner with senior leaders on initiatives to develop and enhance high performance and an inclusive and collaborative culture of the internal organization from an HR perspective. Key elements are to develop department capabilities, embed continuous (process) improvements and safeguards as well as implementing cultural values


  • Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Together with senior leaders, you ensure there is a strategic workforce plan for the function, taking into consideration items like macro and market developments, business plans, formation, location, cost, productivity, and capability levels of staff
  • Leadership & Team Effectiveness
  • You support the development of initiatives for enhancing workforce effectiveness and coaching line management on people management responsibilities. Key elements are founded on delivering business strategy and culture values. They contain People development initiatives, Team development initiatives and individual coaching and feedback


  • People Development

  • You facilitate, support and advise on the execution of strategic HR processes and policies that have a line management responsibility (liaising with the expert teams where applicable). You safeguard the human touch. Key processes are Performance Management, Career Management, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Reward & Recognition. You provide management information, insights and recommendations to leaders based on workforce analytics, KPIs and external data
