The Mercedes-Benz Logistics Center Hanover is an important building block in the manufacturer's own parts logistics in Europe.

As the second stage of the supply chain, it is the link between the central warehouse, the Mercedes-Benz Global Logistics Center in Germersheim, and the customers.

Together with the other German wholesale locations, the logistics centers in Nuremberg, Cologne, Reutlingen and Mainz, it ensures the fast and smooth supply of parts to the branches and service operations in Germany and the national companies in some neighboring countries.

These are some of the challenges you will face

Checking and storing incoming spare parts with the involvement of the ELS merchandise management system
Prioritized picking, storage and stock transfer of spare parts using the ELS inventory management system
Processing of differences and permanent inventory using the ELS merchandise management system
Carrying out transportation to upstream and downstream areas
Operating industrial trucks with the "Optispeed 4" system
Carrying out disposals, which also includes hanging and unhooking pallet cage flaps and folding up pallet cages
Storage and retrieval must also be carried out as pedestrians in the central blocking area

Qualifications

Ideally, you bring the following with you:

Completed vocational training, preferably with a logistics background.
Experience in warehousing and warehouse management.
Valid driver's license for industrial trucks or alternatively class B driver's license.
Good ability to work in a team.
Willingness to work shifts.
Good self and work organization.
Teamoriented work style and high level of selfmotivation.
