Senior Specialist, B2B Marketing

Reports to Team lead Merchant & Acquirer Marketing

Overview

Do you want to be part of a marketing and communications team for a Global Brand and support the Team lead of B2B Marketing, Merchants & Acquirers by partnering with internal stakeholders as well as external partners to create marketing solutions for customers, leverage the Mastercard brand and assets to deliver exceptional co-branded merchant campaigns as well to develop first-in-class B2B marketing communication (B2B events, B2B thought leadership topics and B2B product communication)

Role

Drive customer marketing activities with Merchants and Acquirers/PSPs delivering "Best in Class" marketing as well as strengthen Mastercard ́s B2B position with B2B events, B2B thought leadership topics, B2B product communication

 Negotiate, design, implement and analyze differentiating Merchant campaigns and activities to promote the Mastercard brand and products (card, contactless/mobile, E-Commerce, SCA etc.)

 Monitor Merchant marketing plans and support sell-in of strategic topics to customers

  • Position Mastercard Brand among B2B partners (B2B events, B2B Thought Leadership topics and B2B product communication)
 Organize Mastercard B2B events in collaboration with internal stakeholders

 Plan, implement and design marketing activities for SMEs to promote card payments

 Align with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to leverage synergies

 Steer external agencies


Skills:

 Strong background in Partner Marketing

 Experience in B2B and B2C Marketing desired

 Strong background in Digital Marketing

 Good influencing skills to gather support and advocacy: be able to sell ideas both internally and with customers, be able to set direction and capture the commitment of people to achieve goals

 Insights and understanding of the finance industry

 High energy level, enjoys working in a dynamic business environment

 Fluent in German and English
