A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Lead for HVDC Control & Protection Hardware you will work within a team of HVDC project management and engineering specialists to design and deliver full HVDC control and protection solutions for both wind farm grid connections and interconnectors making use of a transient network analysis.

You will report to the Sub-PM HVDC C&P and the CP organization and will be required to provide engineering work packages in line with project and business objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact

(limited to 18 months to 2 years)

You are responsible for preparing offers and project management for the hardware of control technology and protection systems (Control & Protection) for highvoltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC) regarding deadlines, costs, and quality
You will oversee the technical management of the C&P Hardware offer / order processing team and will coordinate closely with the project management and the technical experts from various hardware engineering areas
Your responsibility includes planning, monitoring, and controlling the offer / order processing including technical conception, delimitation of the scope of delivery, scheduling / resource planning, costing, costing, quality control and management of opportunities and risks
Your are responsible for subcontracting
Your tasks also include reporting, information management, revision, and order completion as well as the implementation of process and design review

What You Bring.

You have successfully completed a university degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or a comparable degree with a standard duration of > 4 years
You have several years of professional experience as well as experience in project management
Ideally, you have intercultural experience and are willing to go on business trips (customer clarification, IBS support)
You can technically navigate and converse in the areas of converter technology, high voltage technology and control technology
Ideally, you can demonstrate knowledge of HVDC technology and systems engineering
You communicate fluently in English and preferably in German
