Position Summary
The HR Administrator is responsible for all generalist HR administration in connection with the employee life cycle, across all companies and departments in Germany.
To act as first point of contact for receiving and signposting HR-related enquires on staff-related policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, and staff benefits.
Provide accurate and timely communication, ensuring that information and responses are given in accordance with HR policies and procedures, staff information and guidance.
To support internal forums e. g.
employee forum, the apprentice self-organised group and the charity committee by circulating the agenda and ensuring that all relevant paperwork is provided and accurate, collecting actions from these meetings.
Process, track, and check monthly HR invoices.
Provide regular support to the wider HR team in relation to the administration management of the HR intranet pages and updates, including guidance, policy, communication, and information.
Manage, store, use & maintain 'personal data' ensuring compliance with the Council's privacy policies and data protection in accordance with GDPR.
Experience Requirements
Experience of working in a HR Department
Ability to plan, organise and work at pace is required.
High level of proficiency in working with MS Office (excel, word)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable - experience of working with a HR database.
Communicating - writes clearly; writes in a well-structured and logical way.
Planning and Organising - Sets clearly defined objectives, plans work well in advance, manages time effectively, monitors performance against deadlines and milestones.
Working with People - Demonstrates a positive and flexible attitude, listens, consults and communicates proactively, works well with other members of the team and develops self-insight on own strengths and development needs.
Coping with pressures and setbacks - Works productively in high volume environment, keeps emotions under control during difficult situations, balances the demands of work life/personal life, maintains a positive outlook at work and can handle feedback by using it as a learning tool.
