    BW Papersystems is looking for a

    Project Manager (m/f/d)

    In the new role as Program Manager you will be responsible for one or more development programs for new machines, from the initial definition phase to production. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring all development programs are managed according to our processes
  • Compliance of quality / specification, schedule as well as budget
  • Close collaboration and lead of cross-functional project team
  • Design Reviews, total Program reviews
  • Change Management

    • Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a point of contact for teams working on the same project, ensuring collaborative and synergistic actions
  • Create project schedules with input from the team, including defining tasks, allocating resources, establishing milestones, and adhering to deadlines
  • Clearly define and agree upon project scope, deliverables, and schedule prior to project execution
  • Maintain alignment with business goals by communicating with stakeholders and project owners
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options to drive project progress
  • Identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate recovery plan and option analysis
  • Recommend actions to keep projects within budget and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular updates on project progress against timelines and deadlines
  • Perform quality control throughout the project development process to maintain expected standards

    • Requirements and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or other analytical discipline.
  • 3+ years of direct project/program management experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering technical development projects
  • Certification as a PMI (Project Management Institute) scheduling professional (PMI-SP) or comparable is preferred but not required.
  • Business fluent in German and English is a must.
  • Willingness to travel to our affiliated company in Wedel (around 10%)
