Intern Breeding R&D, Field Testing - Künzing, DE (all genders)

THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of the Bayer EMEA Breeding Growing Early Talent Program, this 6-month internship at the Bayer Breeding Station in Künzing (Bavaria, Germany) offers insight and participation, as a member of the Field-Testing team, in all major processes of Winter Oil Seed Rape and Corn lifecycle from sowing to harvest.

YOUR TASKS AND OBJECTIVES

You will assist in using innovative and state of the art technology for scoring, sowing and harvest
You will actively participate in the changing tasks and challenges over the season
You will support in the planning and execution of data analysis, phenotyping scoring and trial maintenance, for yield and pathology trials throughout our network in Germany
You will collaborate as a member of an international project team in a global organization working with industry leaders and experts

WHO YOU ARE

You are a currently enrolled M.Sc. student (all genders), in agricultural sciences or related field
You have an interest in modern farming and agriculture, experimental design, pathology and the market landscape in German
You can work independently as well as in a team and enjoy having various tasks ranging from manual tasks in the field to computer work
You have the willingness to obtain the UAV pilot license
You are proficient in English
You hold a B Driving license
