Biological Laboratory Technician (M/F/x)

Purpose of the function:


You will work in a young and dynamic team of the Bio-analytical lab within the biopharmaceutical research and development group.

You will be responsible for analytical tests during the production of pharmaceutical drugs (pre-clinical & commercial).


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Development of bioanalytical methods (SE/RP-HPLC; ELISA; enzyme assays) and carry them out independently
  • Evaluation of analytical data using specific software (e.g. Empower ; Synergy H1)
  • Documentation of all processes under GMP (regulated laboratory)
  • Carrying out maintenance and qualification work on devices
  • Creation and maintenance of test instructions (SOP)
  • Ideally, you are familiar with genetic engineering and molecular biological methods such as cloning, DNA and protein electrophoresis (SDS PAGE, Western blot)
  • Ideally, you already have experience with GMPcompliant documentation and working methods
  • Operation of standard software such as MS Office and devicespecific software

Professional and personal requirements:


  • Completed training as a BTA, PTA, CTA, chemical laboratory assistant or equivalent qualification (Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, biology, biochemistry or similar)
years of professional experience in a comparable area of responsibility

  • Ability to communicate fluently in German and English
  • Reliability, sense of responsibility, independent and accurate way of working
  • Handson mentality and, above all, enjoy working in a team
  • Interest in technological methods and issues
