As the Director (m/w/d) of Project Management for Datacenters, your role is to oversee and lead all aspects of datacenter projects from inception to completion.

You will be responsible for managing a team of project managers and other professionals involved in the project delivery process.

Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a strategic plan for datacenter projects, including defining project goals, scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

Project Delivery:

Oversee the entire project delivery process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

This includes the coordination of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.

Team Management:

Build and lead a high-performing project management team, providing guidance, training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Stakeholder Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders involved in datacenter projects. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all parties throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, utilizing industry best practices and risk assessment techniques. Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential setbacks and project disruptions.

Budget and Cost Control:
Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Implement cost control measures and approve project expenditures.

Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain quality control processes and standards to ensure that datacenter projects meet or exceed client expectations. Conduct periodic inspections and audits to confirm compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Travel expectation - up to 3 days a week - depending on the situation in the projects.
Escalation/trouble shooting expectation management.
Understanding and guidance of the Contract Management (FIDIC, VoB)
Expectations management around HSE in all project phases
Change Management, Scheduling Management
Fluent in English and German
5 years of data center experience
