The global FE team supports our client partners with comprehensive design, system engineering, material and process know-how in the field of technical and fiber-reinforced polymers, functional lightweight construction and CAE-supported multi-material design optimization.

Tasks


In your work as an intern/working student you will get detailed insights and experiences in engineering & consulting projects together with our industry clients and technology partners.


You will support our team with following tasks:

  • Benchmark analysis of current & future highvoltage battery systems/architectures (focus E/E)
  • Support and documentation of the E/E development activities in the Battery Expert group
  • Cooperation and independent processing of internal battery development and research projects
  • Participation in customer projects, R&D and internal projects
  • Support in the preparation of result reports, project documentation, presentation of project results

Requirements:


  • Passionate about Sustainability, Electrification and Future Mobility
  • You study (Dipl.
Ing., M. Sc., M. Eng.) electrical, mechanical
- or industrial engineering specializing in Vehicle design, Battery design, EV powertrain, Aerospace

  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical basics in the field of electric drives
  • Good knowledge of common development Software tools
  • Advanced knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures, traction battery systems (connection of cells/modules, BMS functions, fast charging, thermal management, etc.)
  • Practical experience in the development of highvoltage systems and system architectures is an advantage
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in international projects
  • Experienced and comfortable with discussing and presenting your ideas and project results with the project team
