Your Role


The vision of the Omnichannel Sales (OCS) organization is to enable online sales of complete spectacles to our customers (ECPs).

The Head of Marketplace will guarantee in time and budget delivery of a scalable marketplace delivering a best-in-class shop experience to consumers and easy, self-service onboarding and management processes for customers (ECPs).

The position holder is also responsible for development and execution of a mid
- and long-term roadmap for the marketplace - both from a consumer needs perspective as well as from a technology and infrastructure perspective. Therefore, the Head of Marketplace will lead the global product, solution and infrastructure development of the marketplace including the interface to eCommerce, Vision Care IT backend systems and interfaces to supply chain and logistics processes. Position holder must organize the "how" of product development and ensure quality, compliance to cyber security, data privacy and other regulatory requirements as well as the long-term efficiency of product development incl. sourcing strategy. Based on end2end measurement of performance and conversion, the Head of Marketplace ensures best-in-class user experience and enablement for growth of sales for the products sold on the marketplace. Feedback from customers and consumers must be integrated to improve the marketplace.

Your Profile- 5+ years of relevant experience on the job including digital product design, product development and product implementation as well as project management- Agile methodology for software development Deliver products in time and budget in complex and international environment- Indirect coordination of multiple projects- Industry experience on complex products in B2B and B2B2C environment incl.

compliance- Multicultural experience in international companies- Strong result orientation ('deliver-attitude'), self-driven and autonomous working style- Strong analytical skills and process orientation- Entrepreneurial spirit and data driven mentality- High level of flexibility and ability to adapt to dynamic and changing environments- Willingness to deliver milestones on-time and quality- Passion for consumer facing, eCommerce driven digital products that drive conversion, user behaviour and user centered methodologies- Good cultural and political sensitiveness and negotiating skills- Attached to market trends and integrating them into product roadmaps and product development- Very strong communication skills, assertiveness, and goal orientation strong presentation skills to convey complex concepts to stakeholders incl.

senior management and external customers/agencies- Fluent communication - written and oral - in English and German- Willingness to travel internationally and to work with different time zones- Hybrid working conditions
