Responsibilities:

Optimize existing firmware
Build new Android boot image using standard kernel and device specific device tree
Research working
Build completely new firmware from code for our Qualcommbased device using AOSP. Target should be Android 12/1
Debug issues that might occur
Work together with the development team

Requirements:

Experience with the AOSP code base in either a community or business setting
Deep understanding of Android build environment, Android platform tools such as adb and fastboot, as well as Android shell commands
Installed modded ROMs, even better if you've built them from source
Practical knowledge of Android hardware as an Android enthusiast
Passion around AOSP and Android in general
Excellent communication, analytical, collaboration, and problemsolving skills
Enthusiasm, team spirit and a very high degree of independence round off your profile
Fluent in English.
