Tasks and Qualifications:


Your tasks:


- You harmonize technologies and develop standardized platform concepts for End of Line systems (EOL) with cross-functional teams (production, product development, IT, etc.)**-
You involve functional champions from KION plants worldwide to identify and understand the production needs, and additionally you conduct market analysis to identify and anticipate industry trends as early as possible

Together with internal and external experts you develop, deploy, roll out, optimize and standardize software for KION's EOL processes (flashing, teaching, parametrizing, electrical truck commissioning), incl. definition and implementation of an appropriate release strategy

In order to achieve this, you closely collaborate with colleagues responsible for PLM, SAP ERP, MES, databases, etc., and manage the associated systemic interfaces

For an efficient roll-out, a proper implementation and a sustainable use of the defined EOL systems in our KION plants worldwide, your tasks also include the creation of instructions, the planning and execution of training sessions for the local plant responsible EOL persons as well as stakeholder management, change management, and many more

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and continuously expand the guidelines around KION's EOL systems, which are a key enabler for the digitalization of our trucks

Your qualifications:

You have a university degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable degree:

  • You have relevant professional experience in the field of production diagnosis (flashing, teaching, and parametrizing of electrical control units)
  • You have programming skills (ideally in OTX and Java), first experiences with the software Bosch-GradeX and a basic understanding of electrical control systems and their components
  • Additionally, you have knowledge in truck diagnostics functions (BUStechnology, protocols, signal handling), knowledge in production processes (ECU handling, electronical truck commissioning) and basic knowledge in PLM systems & SAP PP
  • You have strong teamwork, communication and problemsolving skills combined with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and a willingness to travel (approx. 30%), also for international projects
