Koeppern Machinery Australia is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for repairs and maintenance to the fixed plant and
site infrastructure in Malaga (WA) and various remote mine sites.

ey Responsibilities:
Working in Malaga workshop as well as occasional short term engagements on mine sites

Performing repairs and maintenance and repairs to machinery

Providing high level diagnostics and fault finding on fixed plant and infrastructure equipment (e.g. roller

presses and other mining equipment)

Attending to and diagnostics of breakdowns

Scheduled maintenance, installations and updates

Fault finding and repairing diverse hydraulic systems

Manufacturing of various parts at Malaga workshop

Operation of overhead cranes, lathe, furnace and other workshop equipment

Raise detailed work requests for defects to promote effective planning activities

Develop quality and accurate Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for relevant activities

Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, workspace organisation and waste minimisation

Key requirements for this role include:
Mechanical trade qualification / Trade Certificate

Experience in similar position is of value but not a precondition of employment

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good oral and written communication skills

Good interpersonal and organisational skills

Excellent attitude and commitment to safety

Computer literate

Current WA Driver's License

Pre-Employment Medical (Incl. D&A)

National Police Clearance
