System Administrator for Laboratories and Intergration test beds (d/m/w)

Your tasks and responsibilities

Computing & Communication Development Engineering:

Ability to identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates.
Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.
Identify obsolescence issues in advance and participate identification of migration pathes for system upgraed.
Act as front line addressing user request toward help desk, identify, sort and troubleshoot issues.
Act in line with ITIL best practices.

You will be an appreciated contributor to our team if you:

Support, troubleshoot, and maintain computer servers and networks
Programming, hardware capabilities, network infrastructure, testing protocols and mechanisms, and software development
Solid expertise in system administration on premises and on the cloud.
Accountable for the development lab infrastructure and required services for development
Accountable for the delivered platforms for the dedicated projects
Knowledge of virtualization technologies for compute, storage and networking
Knowledge and experience with topics like: Monitoring & alerting, Administering user permissions & administration, Managing SSO & passwords, Managing files, Defining system usage policies & procedures, Installing & maintaining software, Planning for redundancies, rollovers & recoveries, Security
Experience in testing and troubleshooting
Be eligible for Ü2 accreditation.

Desired skills and qualifications

Networking equivalent certification like CCNA or CCNP, knowledge of new technologies for Network Virtualization Functions, Software Defined Networking, Software Defined Wide Area Network
Cloud Computing advanced knowledge of Software Defined Data Centers (VMware, Microsoft, KVM)
Knowledge with Microsoft Active Directory Services including DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
Knowledge with virtualization services (Hyper-V, ESXi, KVM, Proxmox, etc) virtual machines and containers
Automation and Scripting knowledge (Powershell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet) and Security standards (CIS, STIG, BSI )
Knowledge with Monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Elastik, Grafana, )
Asset management ( Hardware, Software & Licenses Management )
Troubleshooting of IT and network infrastructure
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), considered a plus
Agile methodologies
Fluent in German and English language skills, both written and spoken
