Your role:


We're seeking highly motivated and self-starting individuals to join our dynamic, diverse, and very engaged internal audit team We offer a high-profile internal audit function, with good visibility on all management levels and a track record for developing employees into senior roles in finance and business.


In this role, you will have dual responsibilities that include classic operational audit activities as well as driving our data analytics initiatives.


For the operational audits, you lead, coordinate, and participate in the organization and execution of internal audits of different types (subsidiary, critical End-to-End processes, or project reviews as well as ad hoc audits) within our company globally.

Responsibilities include scoping, fieldwork, coordination, communication with senior management, and action planning, as well as supervising and reviewing the work of other Internal Audit team members.

You perform data analytics during fieldwork in your respective audit area, prepare meaningful, standardized audit reports documenting audit procedures and results, and present audit results to senior management including recommendations developed together with the auditees (consultancy approach) and follow up on those.

Further tasks include developing the internal audit department methodology to ensure audits are conducted consistently in high quality and in accordance with IIA standards and taking over individual special projects to support the continuous improvement of the audit function.


To further leverage data analytics in our audit landscape, you will strongly contribute to changes in audit techniques and methodology through data analytics and process mining and create value using data, digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes.

You design, implement and manage digital business solutions for use in Group Internal Auditing and potentially other stakeholders.

This role includes significantly contributing to internal control topics and continuous improvement on a group level through data analytics as well as to the audit analytics strategic roadmap.


Who you are:


  • University degree, preferably in an economicrelated field, additional auditspecific qualification (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CFE certification or ability to obtain a certification within 2 years) preferred
  • Relevant professional experience (minimum five years) in the aforementioned areas of responsibility, preferably in an internationally operating company or in a Big 4 accounting firm. Proven track record in driving data analytics through projects or assignments and familiarity with handling ERP system data and data visualization tools as well as independently scope and conduct reviews of complex endtoend processes and highvolume projects are required. A strong process understanding in the areas of O2C, A2R, and S2P is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, data analysis, process mining, and visualization tools
  • High level of proficiency in providing solutions on various businessrelated and riskidentifying questions through the creation of relevant data analytics including the setup and maintenance of dashboards and process mining.
  • Strong ability to work in a structured way: good planning, project management, and organization skills with the ability to handle multiple accountabilities at the same time having a serviceminded but goaloriented mindset
  • Ability to manage audits and stakeholders of different cultures and capacity to work in a changing project and teambased environment together with a desire to develop your leadership skills in complex matrix organizations
  • Industry experience in the Pharma, Biotech, or Life Science sector would be an asset
  • Team player with good intercultural and excellent communication skills; an independent, motivated, and responsible approach to work
  • Business English on negotiation level, additional language skills are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel globally (approx. 20% travel time).
