CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

Summary:

The Journey Network Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and support of data networks and related network equipment.

The position seeks to ensure the uptime, performance, resources, & security of the networks managed, including local, wireless, and wide area networks.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

Possesses and applied a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
Plans and leads major technology assighments.
Evakyates performance results and recommends major changes affecting shortterm project growth and success.
Funtions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
May supervisor others.
Administering the operation of all LAN/WANrelated network services according to Government policies and procedures
Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
Troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems
Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and spam control measures
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Needs solid technical skills and experience with a variety of network 41 protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations.
Requires strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

years of related experience

Extensive experience in areas such as network design and implementation, LAN/WAN interfacing, security, Internet protocols and TCP/IP, and server and network infrastructure is required.

MUST have and ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with eligibility for access to SCI.**
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with network design, installation, and configuration
Experience with network monitoring tools

The salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$125,000.00 annually.
