Job Description for BDE


Parcelly is looking for a highly motivated and well-spoken Business Development Executive to join our growing team remotely in Germany.

The Executive will be responsible for communicating locally in German language with local stores in Germany and training them as to how to use the Parcelly App.

This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, cold calls, discovery, and individual research.

A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential


This is a remote opportunity; you might be required to report to Base Location in Frankfurt once or twice a month if required.

The preferred work schedule is Monday through Friday with the specific work hours to be mutually agreed upon at time of hire.

The role will require Good communication skills in German and good command over English to co-ordinate with our team sitting in the UK office any other language is a plus.


Responsibilities:


  • Researching and qualifying new stores.
  • Identify the correct contacts, location, needs analysis and other important information about employers we are targeting.
  • Build Employer profiles within CRM to track, add researched data and qualify leads.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Educate yourself on the last and first mile ecommerce industry.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma/ Bachelors Degree
  • 1 year experience in BDE roles, fresh graduates can also apply
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Extremely high energy, driven and dynamic personality
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written in German and good command over English both verbal and written, any other language known is a plus.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Quiet workspace with reliable phone and speedy internet service
