Start date - Flexible (the intern can join between Feb 2023 and September 2023)

Currently we have an opportunity within our Data Storage Systems division. This division is a fast-growing strategic business unit at Seagate. Seagate Systems offer storage capacity for various use cases including Data Centers, Media & Entertainment and Education.

About the role - you will:
The role is about business development in the broadest sense.

You will engage with existing channel partners, follow up on leads, check in on existing partners, engage with strategic ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) and plan industry events.

You will experience all facets of sales and marketing in an international environment.

Daily responsibilities:

Together with the Systems team you set criteria for new partner selection and execute on your strategy
Contact existing partners to learn what works well and what needs improvement
Report to the Systems team what your findings are and include suggestions
Support the organization of industry events where Seagate participates
Attend inhouse and external meetings

You are proactive in finding solutions or improvements and you are not afraid to speak up and share your thoughts
You create structure out of chaos
You are selfmotivated and capable of working in a selfdirected manner
