THE ROLE:


  • To bring our "bikes to life" we are activating a collection of Canyon designed parts and accessories or GEAR WORLD to enhance and complement our bikes.

As the Gear Product Launch Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and executing a plan for product launches; with the core element being the creation of the Product Detail Page (PDP).

The position reports to the Gear Content Manager and is focused on following their direction for planning and creating content; all according to the product launch timeline.


YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW:


  • Be responsible for the execution of Canyon's Gear PDPs for all categories through effective content gathering; from the product development team, marketing, photo studio, copy writing resources and the digital team, for all our products within our three main categories; components, accessories and clothing.
  • Using the process and tools with the Gear Content Manager, develop a strategy & execute a plan and timeline for the Gear Customer Journey and PDP experience that drives the growth of categories in our web shop
  • Optimize the PDP creation tools for Gear Products covering priority categories, products and coordinate with Gear marketing and digital to meet prescribed timelines for all products
  • Work with the Gear sales data analytics team to define the strategic efficacy of Gear PDPs for products linked with strategy, crossselling data, recommendations and collections
  • Work with SEO, CRM and Digital to define customer groups and design and execute PDPs with postpurchase marketing and engagement strategies that drive cross
- and up-sell revenue

  • Work with Gear marketing and Digital to create new landing pages, collections and bundles; supported by our PDPs; based on customer search terms including direction for page structure & layout, color variations, product photography, specifications, component descriptions, design videos, product UPS's, and features
  • Coordinate with Gear and Bike Marketing to use our sponsored teams and athletes; where appropriate in our PDPs, to help position and add appropriate assets for further sales/interest about our Gear products

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE:

  • Passion for pushing the boundaries and opportunities for the consumer in marketing combined with ecommerce, embrace change and proactively look for solutions in challenging situations
  • Have a university degree in business or a comparable qualification, with at least a bachelor's degree
  • Have worked several years in a dynamic and fastpaced environment specifically with the processes of marketing and ecommerce
  • Excellent analytical skills in order to assess the performance of the categories and make informed decisions
  • Organize your workload efficiently based on the revenue contribution to the business but also growing trends
  • Advanced experience in Excell and Photo Shop
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force suite of programs is helpful but not a prerequisite
  • Excellent English skills, you communicate clearly with different stakeholders and possess confident negotiation skills
