The Chief Data Officer is responsible for setting and embedding the vision when it comes to the way Allianz Technology leverages their data practice effectively.

The person would be an influential executive where collaboration with Group functions and Technology teams are paramount whilst driving a high performing data engineering/science/insights and analytics function.

You will lead the Allianz Technology Data Office which shall drive the implementation of the Allianz Group Data Strategy.

You shall define and regularly update a program for implementing the Group Data Strategy, covering all strategic action areas and defining the required budget.

You shall submit the Allianz Technology Data Program for feedback to the Group Data Office and shall provide a statement as to how the Data program supports the implementation of Group strategic Data Ambitions as defined in the Data Strategy of Allianz Group.

You will- Responsible for leading the Data team, including the managing the performance, objectives and budget of the team- Track the progress of the implementation of the Group Data Strategy and Allianz Technology Data Program by assessing the progress of Data Maturity and Data Fitness.- Coordinate the definition, approval and tracking of the overall Allianz Technology Data Value plan, based on input from the Allianz Technology Business Functions.- Drive the definition of the Data Architecture roadmap in alignment with Allianz Technology IT Functions and Group Data Office, and establish the steering mechanism to ensure the implementation steering of the Data Architecture roadmap.- Prioritize data-relevant projects and participate in prioritized projects to achieve "Data by Design".- Create a Data communication and training approach towards project stakeholders, in alignment with the Data Privacy function.- Provide input on the Group Data strategy through the Global CDO Community.

Your skills- Extremely trusting and reliable in dealing with different stakeholder groups- Ability to understand very complex interrelationships in large organizations, to develop high-performance teams and to come up with scalable problem solutions within your program- Many years of experience in data projects or line activities with a focus on data.- Strong management experience in an agile environment and ideally in a data context Lots of experience with digital transformation and the cultural aspects behind them- Proven budget and resource responsibility for major projects- Strong empathy and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to achieve constructive solutions with a wide variety of stakeholders (from employees to the board of directors), even in difficult situations.- Extremely good communication skills in English
