WHAT YOU WILL DO
FP&A is a part of controlling and a highly changing, dynamic area. Financial planning and analysis is increasingly evolving from accounting and controlling into a strategic function within the company. In contrast to accounting, the focus is on the future. The FP&A function not only performs the core activities of budgeting, forecasting and planning. FP&A also provides increasingly better information using ever-increasing amounts of data and more professional analysis. Today's competitive environment requires flexible and fast planning in line with business development. In this context, rigid budgeting and forecasting methods are outdated and their results largely irrelevant."

In addition to maintaining liquidity, maximizing profits or increasing sharehol-der value is another goal.

Consequently, FP&A coordinates financial resources in the company in such a way that investments in the performance area lead to increases in value.

Furthermore, the focus is on the further development and scalability of processes and tools in order to be able to meet the constant challenges of a growing company.

Specifically, the primary responsibilities of the future position holder include.

  • Financial planning of the corporate group
  • Preparation, management and reporting of variances and specifics
Reviewing expansion and growth opportunities for the company
Developing growth plans, including capital expenditures and investments
Preparation of three to five year financial forecasts

  • Budget Process & Planning.

Sparring partner for business units.

  • Rolling forecasting of the liquidity of the group & reporting for 3 international subsidiaries
  • Setup and responsibility of liquidity forecasts
Key-user with the cash management tool "agicap
Active coordination with the departments (ShortTimeSteering)
Update and creation of bridges from budget-to-cash and cash-to-budget
Constant informative value on the liquidity of the company

  • Point of contact on all cash flow management issues
  • Contact person for banks and topics related to securing financing
  • Modeling of business cases and financial models (later also for M&A)
  • Financial analysis for profit maximization of business units, projects and investments
  • Building Financial Driving Prediction models with the Bi-Team for

WHAT YOU BRING IN

  • A university degree in business administration ideally with a focus on controlling or finance
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in controlling or finance in a mediumsized company structure or a startup
  • A keen awareness of the operational success factors of the business as well as the corresponding processes and constraints.
  • The ability to recognize important interrelationships between shareholder(s), management, divisions and to be able to move efficiently within them, as well as to drive forward change processes
  • Communicative ability in storytelling and diplomacy always in the interest of the company
  • Data driven mentality
  • Be able to successfully operationalize corporate strategies and implement them under time pressure with a high degree of technical precision
  • Sufficient analytical and deductive skills to establish modern, Agile and, above all, digital commercial systems
  • Bringing creative processes to a successful conclusion in a consistent and goaloriented manner
  • Basic knowledge in the field of accounting
  • Good command of business case modeling in Excel
  • Knowledge of modern instruments in liquidity management
  • Fluent English skills
